Disclosure of Transfers of Value by MEDINER LTD.
Description of Methodology:
Mediner Ltd. always strives to meet the highest ethical standards in the pharmaceutical industry. To ensure the transparent operation of our company from an ethical perspective, we publish the benefits we provide on our website, based on the guidelines of the “Generic Transparency Code.”
By benefits, we mean any value that the company provides directly or indirectly to the beneficiary, “transfers,” or pays on their behalf to a third party through a third party. This includes monetary or in-kind benefits, such as travel, hospitality, or gifts.
The beneficiaries of our benefits can be healthcare professionals working in Hungary, as well as healthcare organizations and patient organizations operating in Hungary. When listing the benefits provided to healthcare professionals, we chose to break it down by event, meaning we indicate the number of participants supported by Mediner Ltd. at the given event without naming the participants. In the case of benefits provided to patient organizations and healthcare organizations, we also indicate the name of the organization.
To ensure accurate identification, we always indicate the date of publication, the date of the event, and the date of financial completion of the benefit. We also provide a brief description of the purpose of the benefit, the gross value of the benefit, the VAT content, and separately indicate any other taxes related to the benefit. In the case of payments made in foreign currency, we indicate the value expressed in Forints calculated at the mid-exchange rate announced by the Hungarian National Bank on the day of financial completion of the benefit. For multi-year contracts, in addition to the previously listed data, we also publish the start and duration of the contract.
The publication of benefits is done annually, in Hungarian Forints and in Hungarian. The publication for the given year is made by the end of the 6th month following the end of the reporting period, i.e., by June 30 of the following year at the latest.
